Orance County Fairgrounds Equestrian Center at Risk!

As you may be aware the Equestrian Coalition of Orange County (ECOC) has been helping to preserve the existing Equestrian Center at the OC Fair for several years.  Currently the Fair Board is considering removing the equestrian facility in order to pave it over for more parking.  We have been gathering support throughout the county in order to save this important facility.

On March 10, 2009, the Board of Supervisors considered a resolution to support the preservation of the equestrian facilities at the Orange County Fairgrounds, which included opposing any action that would reduce the number of available stables.  It also encourages the OC Fair Board and the equestrian community to work together to preserve this vital resource and to incorporate its use into OC Fair events. Visit the ECOC for more information and ways to help!
